Recall chain means casting Recall on someone and having a third player cast Recall on you, before cancelling your Recall. This allows the third player to jump a considerable distance, speeding them up and potentially avoiding danger.

The most common use for this tactic is after the DoA Gloom Cave spike, to pull the Trench Tank back towards the start of Gloom. The chain is:

  • IAU/Empathy runs towards Gloom start
  • TK recalls IAU/Empathy and runs to the TT in the Cave
  • TT recalls TK
  • TK cancels Recall, teleporting to IAU/Empathy
  • TT cancels Recall and teleports to TK

Other common locations for Recall chains in DoA are the Gloom>Foundry transition (MT/TT/TK chain each other to Foundry) and Foundry>City transition (TK chains MT to City).

If you cast EE on someone with Recall, and they cancel their Recall during the cast time of your EE, you will jump much further.
