The Fissure of Woe is a core elite area that rewards obsidian shards and rare drops from the end chest. Runs are typically formed in Embark Beach.
Tactics
As a largely open area, with mostly non-linear quests, and most objectives not requiring any special skills, FoW lends itself well to different team splits.
