Fingers of Chaos is a monster skill that causes a variety of effects, depending on the primary and secondary professions of the target being attacked.
It is a stance that lasts 5 seconds, costs 5 energy, and has a 15 second cooldown.

- The Fury
- Tortureweb Dryder
- Guardian of Komalie (mesmer)
- The Greater Darkness
- The Darkness
Effects
- Rangers: attacks cannot be blocked (they can still miss or be obstructed)
- Warriors: attacks inflict Blind and Cripple to the target - no effect if the attacks do not hit
- Monks: attacks remove one enchantment from the target - no effect if the attacks do not hit
- Necromancers: attacks remove one hex from the attacker - a hex is still removed if the attack misses or is blocked, but not if it's obstructed
- Elementalists: attacks interrupt an action - no effect if the attacks do not hit
Consequences in DoA
- Do not bring a useless secondary that may trigger this skill e.g. Me/E spiker with no elementalist skills.
- If you use a green shield as tank, Stygian Aegis or Stygian Defender are better than Aegis of Aaaaarrrrrrggghhh, because you can meet the req without getting crippled, which might require you to use IaU at an inopportune time.
- As Emo, wait until the last moment before jumping into wall for the Earth Tormentors at the Darkness spike, so that the Darknesses don't switch aggro to you.
