Introduction

This guide is meant to help players who are looking to learn tank set their assassin up properly. It includes a lot of optional equipment and covers both MT and TT.

PvE skills and titles

The only PvE skills you will need for tank are:

As always it is vital that you have the correct rank to use these skills, in this case r5 Norn.

When starting MT your Lightbringer rank doesn't matter, but remember to always display it and make sure it shows up in your effects monitor. Always take the bounty if you're not max rank.

Equipment

Before starting, get at least the equipment marked as required to keep your success rate as high as possible.

Armor

		Very useful in Veil.

Gloom cave set:	Derv hill set:	Low hp/armour set:	Extra energy pieces:
Useful for staying alive if playing without Dark Escape.	To make use of this you need specific weapons and pcons. See below.

Weapons

Required

Shield set:	Energy hiding weapon:	Staff:	Flatbow:	Vamp daggers:
	Hide energy while tanking Margonites without Balth.

Recommended

High energy staff:	Earth shield:
	Swap to this shield if tanking Rage Titans without prot. Since they aren't demons, your normal shield will be ineffective.

Optional

Derv hill set:	Shield without HP:	Zealous spear:	Zealous daggers:
Use together with Drake Kabob and either Vanguard's or Saboteur's Insignias.	Useful for managing your health at Jadoth.

Consumables

Higher attributes, more health and faster cast time help a lot. Apples can be avoided as MT before City for better health management at Jadoth.
