Once it's healed one of its friends, it'll run clear across the compass to heal it if it's ever damaged again.

Counters
Technobabble (this won't work on Menzies koz he's a boss, although you can cast it on an adjacent target)
having the thing you're killing just outside cast range so the monk won't heal it - this works even if the monk is attacking you
Priest of Menzies
The Priest of Menzies, commonly shortened to "Menzies", is just a Shadow Monk but level 30 and a boss.
