Bladed Aatxe

Bladed Aatxes are one of the hardest-hitting enemies in the game. They can deal up to 600 damage per hit to spellcaster professions. As they are the first enemies confronted in the Underworld, those new to the area are most likely to have a very short visit.

• Bladed Aatxes have 1,060 health and three permanent pips of health regeneration in normal mode, and 1,136 health and 10 pips of regen in hard mode.Template:Verify
• They deal 80-250 blunt damage, have 10% armor penetration, and they average 183 damage per second against targets with an armor rating of 60.
• A miniature version of this creature is available as a birthday gift.

Trivia

• In Basque mythology, an Aatxe ([a.atʃe], approximately, ah-che) is a cave-dwelling spirit that takes the form of a young bull.

Counters

As a Ranger/Assassin, they are survivable with Whirling Defense, Shroud of Distress, HoS and DC. Shadow Form to not get rended by Dying Nightmares. Usually, you can get spells off even with their rupts if whirling is up. If not you can HoS over an obstacle cast your spell so they have to walk around the obstacle to get to you.

Even with Aatxe present, you can even whirl the Keeper of Souls if you do things correctly and play it smart.
