Bogroot Growths is a dungeon that is commonly run for a Frog Scepter. Pug groups typically form at Gadd's Encampment in American Districts.

Area Description

Teams will most commonly do Giriff's War given by Giriff just outside the dungeon requiring that you kill Khabuus.

Alternatively however, teams may choose to take Tekks's War given by Tekks requiring that you kill Z'him Monns.

Level 1

The tank runs to the end of the level.

Level 2

Running:

Beware of the Stormcloud Incubi who can strip enchantments with Soulrending Shriek and knock down with Mind Shock, and the Fanged Ayahuasca who can snare with Crippling Anguish.

Khabuus:

Kill the Patriarch just after the shrine near the friendly frogs. This Patriarch will drop the dungeon key. Pick up the key and proceed to the boss room. At this point, the tank should ball all frogs on Khabuus before the VoS spike the ball. Kill Khabuus.

Tekks:

Kill the Patriarch positioned just prior the shrine in the room after the Beetles, and the Patriarch just beside the gate lock. The second Patriarch will drop the dungeon key. From here the run is as above. Kill Z'him Monns.

  • The 9 Tactics is used to meet the shield requirement; the tank can run 9 Command or Motivation instead if the respective shield is used. Alternatively, the tank can forgo the 8 additional armor and bring 10 Dagger Mastery and 8 Critical Strikes for more damage.
  • The first build should be used for inexperienced tanks, while the second build should be used for more experienced tanks to speed up the run overall.

Equipment

Tips

  • Casting Shadow Form throughout the run is often unnecessary if the Dash bar is brought since other party members will be spamming Ebon Escape on the tank in order to catch up, healing the tank in the process.
